French Current Event
In the next couple of weeks, French colleges will begin to sell University products such as accessories and small trinkets. This is very new for many public colleges especially because very few have done anything in the way of brand development. The reason behind the marketing is that most French colleges find themselves competing with other schools for students. French president, Nicholas Sarkozy has named French universities as autonomous, rather than branches of a state-run network.
